In collaboration with a civil society organisation GENERATE held the one-day event: Queer Green Academy: Training for LGBTQ+ Leaders in Kampala, Uganda.
The workshop provided 18 leaders – Executive Directors and Programme Directors – from LGBTQ+ civil society organisations a stronger understanding of environmental and climate change issues, an opportunity to share good practices, and discuss opportunities for future work and learning from each other.
Executive and programme leaders reported changes in knowledge and strengthened capacity to develop new climate- and environment-related programmes and activities within their organisations.
